Herrera, City Attorney Knox Askins, City <br />Secretary Sue Lenes, Chief of Police Bobby Powell, Director of <br />Public Works Steve Gillett, Director of Parks and Recreation <br />Stephen Barr, City Engineer Fred Thompson, City Manager <br />Secretary Carol Buttler, and Police Officer Sherman Moore <br />Others Present: Gene Sanchez and several other members of the <br />La Porte Girls Softball Association and several La Porte <br />citizens. <br />INVOCATION BY REV. Henry Walker pastor of <br />Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in La Porte, Texas. <br />CONSIDER APPROVING MINIITES OF REGIILAR MEETING FEBRIIARY 26, <br />1996 <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Maxwell to approve the <br />minutes of February 26 as presented. Second by Councilperson <br />Clarke.
