Second by Council person Gay. CALL TO ORDER WORKSHOP MEETING <br /> <br />Mayor Malone called the Workshop Meeting to order at 6:17 P.M. <br /> <br />The following items were discussed at the Workshop Meeting: <br /> <br />A. DISCUSS JOINT VENTURE WITH HARRIS COUNTY <br />PRECINCT TWO TO BUILD BAY AREA EXTENSION <br /> <br />B. SUNRISE DRIVE PROPOSED DRAINAGE PROJECT <br /> <br />6. ADJOURN WORKSHOP MEETING <br /> <br />Mayor Malone adjourned the Workshop Meeting at 7:19 P.M. <br /> <br />7. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS <br /> <br />City Manager Robert T. Herrera requested Police Chief Bobby Powell to give <br />City Council a report on a major accident that occurred within the City limits <br />this afternoon. <br /> <br />Secondly, Mr. Herrera reminded Council of the meeting dates for City Council <br />Meetings in the month of June. Meetings will be held June 2, and June 22, <br />1998. <br /> <br />Lastly, Mr. Herrera reminded City Council Early Voting will take place from <br />May 13 through May 26, 1998. <br /> <br />8. COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />Councilpersons Sutherland, Engelken, Porter, Gay, Young, Clarke and Mayor <br />Malone brought items to Council's attention. <br />
