CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Norman Malone at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Members of City Council Present: Councilpersons Guy Sutherland, Chuck Engelken, <br />Howard Ebow, Alton Porter, Peter Griffiths, Deotis Gay, Charlie Young, Jerry Clarke, <br />and Mayor Norman Malone. <br /> <br />Members of Council Absent: None <br /> <br />Members of City Executive Staff and City Employees Present: City Manager Robert T. <br />Herrera, City Attorney Knox Askins, Assistant City Manager John Joerns, Assistant <br />City Secretary Janis Goulder, Director of Parks and Recreation Stephen Barr, Director <br />of Administrative Services Louis Rigby, Finance Director Cynthia Alexander, City <br />Manager's Administrative Assistant Carol Buttler, Fire Chief Joe Sease, Fire <br />Suppression Supervisor Champ Dunham, City Planner Brad Ellis, Planning Coordinator <br />Masood Malik, EMS Chief Chris Osten, Paramedic Supervisor Ray Nolen, Shift <br />Coordinator Scott Griffin, Paramedic Lisa Camp, Paramedic Tim Murnane, Paramedic <br />Andrew Chalk, Paramedic Jake Evans, Paramedic Shawn DelBello, and Administrative <br />Assistant Kay Fox. <br /> <br />Others Presen!: Spero Pomonis, Bill Hall, Marlin Fenn, Colleen Hicks, Deborah <br />Moseley, Deloris Tully, and a number of citizens. <br /> <br />2. Reverend Marlin Fenn delivered the Invocation. <br /> <br />3. Council considered approving the minutes of the Regular Meeting and Public Hearing <br />on March 27,2000. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Engelken to approve the minutes of the Regular <br />Meeting and Public Hearing as presented. Second by Councilperson Ebow. The <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Ayes: Sutherland, Engelken, Ebow, Griffiths, Porter, Gay, Young, Clarke, and Mayor <br />Malone <br />Nays: None <br />Abstain: Nonc~ <br /> <br />4. PETITIONS, REMONSTRANCES, COMMUNICATIONS, AND CITIZENS AND <br />TAXPAYERS WISHING TO ADDRESS COUNCIL. <br /> <br />No citizens wished to address Council. <br />
