<br />1. CALL TO ORDER
<br />
<br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Norman Malone at 6:00 p.m.
<br />
<br />Members of City Council Present: Councilpersons Guy Sutherland, Chuck Engelken,
<br />Howard Ebow, Alton Porter, Peter Griffiths, Deotis Gay, Charlie Young, Jerry Clarke,
<br />and Mayor Norman Malone.
<br />

<br />Members of City Executive Staff and City Employees Present: City Manager Robert T.
<br />Herrera, City Attorney Knox Askins, Assistant City Manager John Joerns, Assistant

<br />of Administrative Services Louis Rigby, Finance Director Cynthia Alexander, City
<br />Manager's Administrative Assistant Carol Buttler, Fire Chief Joe Sease, Fire

<br />2. Reverend Marlin Fenn delivered the Invocation.
<br />
<br />3. Council considered approving the minutes of the Regular Meeting and Public Hearing
<br />on March 27,2000.
<br />
<br />Motion was made by Councilperson Engelken to approve the minutes of the Regular
<br />Meeting and Public Hearing as presented. Second by Councilperson Ebow. The
<br />motion carried.
