Council considered providing direction and considering confirming the Audit Committee's <br />recommendation to continue use of budget costs versus population method as described in <br />the option clause of the agreement. <br /> <br />Director of Emergency Services Joe Sease presented summary and recommendation and <br />answered Council's questions. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilmember Engelken to move forward with this recommendation <br />as presented by Mr. Sease. Second by Councilmember Griffiths. Council considered awarding Bid #08063 - Chemical, Paper and Janitorial Supplies in the <br />amount of$17,281.01 <br /> <br />Purchasing Manager Susan Kelley presented summary and recommendation and answered <br />Council's questions. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilmember Beasley to approve the bid as presented by Mrs. <br />Kelley. Second by Councilmember Young. Workshop was called to order by Mayor Malone at 8:40 p.m. <br /> <br />a. Councilmembers Meismer, Beasley and Engelken discussed the possibility of opening <br />an additional corridor parallel to Fairmont Parkway (K Street) from 14th or 16th Street to <br />Highway 146 Feeder, for the purpose of improving traffic flow. <br /> <br />Acting City Manager John Joerns voiced his concerns of the utility corridor with K <br />Street, and suggested L or M Street as an additional option for corridor. Council <br />requested Staff to review this option. <br /> <br />b. Council discussed adopting an ordinance establishing policies and procedures for city <br />issued American Express and Visa credit cards. <br /> <br />22. Closed Workshop and reconvened Regular Meeting at 9:26 p.m. <br />
