Council to consider approval of an ordinance authorizing the City Manager to execute Change Order #1 with <br /> Vintage Contracting, Inc. for the Construction of the Bay Area Boulevard Trunk Sewer Project increasing the <br /> contract price by $119,514.00. <br /> Director of Public Works Steve Gillett gave the presentation and recommendation and answered Council's <br /> questions. <br /> Assistant City Attorney John Armstrong read: ORDINANCE 2004 -2742 — AN ORDINANCE APPROVING <br /> AND AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LA <br /> PORTE AND VINTAGE CONTRACTING, INC., FOR THE BAY AREA BOULEVARD TRUNK SEWER <br /> PROJECT; APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $119,514.00, TO FUND SAID CHANGE ORDER; MAKING <br /> VARIOUS FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT; FINDING COMPLIANCE <br /> WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> Councilmember Griffiths made the motion to approve Ordinance 2004 -2742 as presented by Mr. Gillett. <br /> Second by Councilmember Ebow.
