Police Ch!efRichard Reffpresented summary and recommendation and answered Council's questions Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins read: ORDINANCE 1285-P - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1285, "AN ORDINANCE IMPLEMENTING POLICEMEN'S CIVIL SERVICE; ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS; NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED POSITIONS IN EACH CLASSIFICATION CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF," Motion was made bv Councilmember Rigby to apDrove Ordinance 1285-P as presented by Chief Reff. Council to consider approval or other action regarding an ordinance approving and authorizing the City Manager to negotiate a three-year contract with Humana Health Care. Human Resources Manager Sherri Sampson presented summary and recommendation and answered Council's questions, Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins read: ORDINANCE 2004-2777 - AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH HUMANA INSURANCE COMPANY, FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES OF THE CITY'S MEDICAL PLAN, EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1,2005; ADOPTING "HEALTH SERVICE PLAN DESIGN" OPTIONS; APPROVING AN EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTION SCHEDULE SERVICES AGREEMENTS; MAKING VARIOUS FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF, Motion was made bv Councilmember Rigby to table this item until the questions (*see below) have been answered, Second by Councilmember Moser.
