Administrative Reports City Manager Debra Feazelle reminded Council of the Elected Officials Appreciation Event, September 16, 2005 at Lakewood Yacht Club from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., East Harris County "Swing Thing 2005 Golf Tournament, September 19, 2005 has been cancelled at Timber Creek Golf Club at noon, Retirement Party honoring Genitha Smith (Public Works), September 23, 2005 at Evelyn Kennedy Center from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Ms. Feazelle introduced Cliff Meekins, Fire Marshal and Robert Swanagon H.R. Mnager. Ms. Feazelle thank all those who worked on coordination the assistance to Katrina evacuees. An update was provided on the recent PPG Explosion and Council requested staff have someone from PPG present at the next meeting for discussions. A report on computer difficulties was provided. Ms. Feazelle noted there will be no land acquisition discussion during Executive Session this evening. 14. Council Comments Moser, Beasley, Griffiths, Ebow, Engelken, Mosteit, Clausen, Rigby and Porter had comments.. Council Rigby requested the following be recorded in the minutes. He noted he was having difficulty receiving information he requested. He has requested items 6 months ago, six weeks ago and two weeks ago and has not yet received the information. 15.
