<br />development shall make provisions for the proper projection of streets into <br />adjoining areas by carrying the new streets to the boundaries of the new <br />development at appropriate locations. All such streets shall be designed in <br />accordance with the PleM. <br />E. PROVISIONAL ONE FOOT RESERVE is to be used along the side or end <br />of streets that abut acreage tracts. The note shown in Enclosure 8 to Appendix <br />D is to appear on the Final Plats and Street Dedication Plats, where appropriate. <br />F. HARRIS COUNTY ROAD LAW: All subdivisions within the City's <br />extraterritorial jurisdiction shall comply with the current Harris County Road Law. <br />The statement to be found in Enclosure 1 to Appendix D is to appear in Final <br />Plats. <br />G. STREET NAMES: <br />1. Street names shall be the same as existing street names, if they <br />are continuations of existing streets. Otherwise, no street name <br />shall be permitted that is a duplicate of an existing or proposed <br />street name within the City. <br />2. Proposed new names must be submitted to the Department for <br />checking prior to the submittal of first plan and plan. <br />3. The developer shall provide street name signs in accordance with <br />the approved City Public Improvement Criteria Manual. <br />H. ALLEYS: Alleys may be provided within any subdivision or <br />development to provide secondary vehicular access to building sites which <br />otherwise have their primary access from an adjacent public street.
