Dead end alleys are not permitted. <br />\. PRIVATE STREETS AND ALLEYS: Streets and alleys which the <br />developer proposed to privately maintain in perpetuity through a community <br />association or other approved means are to be designated as "private" on the <br />plat. Design and construction of such streets and alleys will be identical to <br />design and construction standards for public streets. Right of way lines may be <br />coterminous with the edge of pavement. <br />J. ENGINEERING DATA (See the PICM). <br />5.02 SIDEWALKS <br />All sidewalks, where required by the Comprehensive Plan or by the Commission <br />shall be constructed in accordance with the PICM. <br />5.03 LOTS <br />General: The lot design of a Subdivision or Development should provide for <br />lots of adequate width and depth to provide open area and to eliminate <br />overcrowding. Lots should be rectangular so far as practicable and should have <br />the side lot lines at right angles to the streets on which the lot faces or fadial to <br />curved street lines. Lots with double frontage are prohibited except when <br />backing on major thoroughfares and upon approval by the Planning Commission. <br />A.
