City Council Retreat Meeting — April 8, 2006 - Page 3 <br />E. GOLF COURSE — A. Osmond <br />This item will be discussed at the Council meeting on Monday, April 10, 2006. <br />8. LUNCH — The meeting continued during lunch. <br />9. OPEB/GASB (OTHER POST -EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS) — C. Alexander <br />Assistant City Manager Cynthia Alexander provided an overview of OPEB/GASB (other post -employment benefits). <br />Staff will continue to update Council as they receive additional information. <br />10. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM — D. Feazelle <br />City Manager Debra Feazelle provided a proposal of enhancing the Economic Development program by addition a staff member to <br />handle economic development issues. Staff was directed to include with budget. <br />11. BOND ELECTION/CIP/ELECTION? NOV/MAY — D. Feazelle <br />It was the consensus of the Council to add these items to the May Election in 2007. <br />12. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS — D. Feazelle <br />Staff will be bringing additional reports on projects to Council in the future. <br />There have been discussions on joint projects in park zone 5 and emergency operations during emergency situations with the school <br />district. As this develops more information will follow <br />13. Beasley, Ebow Engelken, Mosteit, Clausen, Rigby, Moser, and Porter had comments. <br />14. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Councilmembers Ebow, Rigby, Mosteit and Engelken brought comments to the table. <br />15. ADJOURNMENT <br />Others Present: None <br />16.
