Council to consider approval or other action regarding Ordinance 2004-2782-W <br />appointing various members to Boards and Commissions. <br /> <br />Mayor Porter presented summary and recommendations and answered Council's <br />questions. <br /> <br />Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins read Ordinance 2004-2782- W, AN ORDINANCE <br />APPOINTING MEMBERS TO VARIOUS BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, AND COMMITTEES, <br />OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, CONTAINING A <br />REPEALING CLAUSE, FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN METINGS LAW, AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Council member Ebow to approve ordinance 2004-2782-W appointinq <br />persons to the various boards and commissions.
