<br />Minutes of Regular Meeting and Workshop Meeting held on March 9, 2009 <br /> <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />LICENSING OF EIGHT-LINERS WITHIN THE CITY OF LA PORTE AND BY AMENDING <br />APPENDIX-B '''FINES'' OF THE LA PORTE CODE OF ORDINANCES IN ACCORDANCE <br />THEREWITH; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY <br />CLAUSE; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; PROVIDING <br />THAT ANY PERSON VIOLATING THE TERMS OF THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE <br />DEEMED GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND UPON CONVICTION SHALL BE FINED <br />IN A SUM NOT TO EXCEED FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS; PROVIDING FOR <br />PUBLICATION OF THE CAPTION HEREOF; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br />HEREOF. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilmember Moser to approve Ordinance 3127 as presented by <br />Mr. Adcox. Councilmember Engelken seconded the motion. Council to consider approval or other action of a Wellness Incentive Stipend Program - R. <br />Bottoms <br /> <br />City Manager Ron Bottoms presented summary and recommendations and answered <br />Council's questions. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilmember Riqby to move forward with the proiect without usinq <br />the insurance fund to cover the costs. Receive report on Comprehensive Annual Financial Report - M. Dolby <br /> <br />Paula Lowe of Patillo, Brown and Hill, LLC, C.PA presented the report on the <br />Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. <br /> <br />11. Mayor Pro-Tem Clausen closed Regular Meeting and opened Workshop Meeting at 6:50 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />A. Police Chief Kenith Adcox discussed OSSI Records Management System at the <br />Police Department and Sergeant Matt Daeumer made a presentation and <br />demonstration of this system. <br /> <br />Council directed staff to move forward in their plans to replace the Records <br />Management System at the Police Department. <br />
