Consider approval or other action awarding bid #10027 for office supplies - S. <br />Cream <br /> <br />Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins read the following Ordinance captions: <br /> <br />Ordinance 3291 - AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE BUDGET <br />FOR THE CITY OF LA PORTE,TEXAS, FOR THE PERIOD OF OCTOBER 1, 2010 <br />THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2011; FINDING THAT ALL THINGS REQUISITE AND <br />NECESSARY HAVE BEEN DONE IN PREPARATION AND PRESENTMENT OF SAID <br />BUDGET; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />Ordinance 3292 - AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A BANKING <br />SERVICE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS AND AMEGY <br />BANK OF HOUSTON, TEXAS FOR A FIVE YEAR TERM, COMMENCING NOVEMBER 1, <br />2010, AND TERMINATING OCTOBER 31, 2015; MAKING VARIOUS FINDINGS AND <br />PROVISION RELATING TO THE SUBJECT; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN <br />MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />Council member Engelken abstained on item 6C on the Consent agenda. <br /> <br />Items B, E, G and H were pulled for discussion. <br /> <br />Item J was taken off of consent and voted on separately. <br />
