Minutes of Regular Meeting and Budget and Budget Workshop Meeting of the La Porte City Council held on <br />August 9,10 & 11, 2010 Page 5 <br />Engelken: <br />Wants to discuss eliminating the lump sum merit raise and continue the merit plan as it <br />exists. <br />Wants a detailed report of the water bill donations for park beautification on an annual <br />basis since it was created. <br />Would like to discuss plans to address the Pecan Park issues. <br />Mosteit: <br />Want to discuss the 3% across the board lump sum. He wants to continue the traditional <br />merit increase plan. <br />Want to further discuss the Metro Bus System and noted he would like to see it continued. <br />Want to further discuss the Planning/Engineering position. <br />Clausen: <br />Want to further discuss the Metro Bus System and noted he would like to see it continue <br />for one year. <br />Want to further discuss the Planning Position. Noted he is favorable towards approving <br />the position. <br />Want to discuss items other Council members mentioned. <br />He would also like to further discuss the raise issue. <br />Rigby: <br />Would like to discuss the items mentioned by other Council Members. <br />Would like for staff to use the manual calculator on 1010 for the 3% raises and provide <br />report. Wants to continue the 3% merit increases and is not in favor of lump sums. <br />Would like staff to provide information and the addition quarter cent sales tax for <br />consideration in next year's budget. <br />Would like to discuss bulk heading at the Golf Course. <br />Moser: <br />Wants to discuss the plan for housing on the North Side for the upcoming year. <br />
