Authorize the City Manager to issue a Letter of Intent to Club Car, LLC, for purchase of 76 <br />Tempo Electric 2024 golf cars through Sourcewell Contract #1222220-CCR for 2024 Club <br />Car Fleet, to be funded in the City's 2024 Fiscal Year Budget. [Billy Stoker, Golf Course <br />Manager] <br />Mayor Pro Tern Engelken moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion was seconded by <br />Councilperson Bentley: the motion was adopted, 9-0. <br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND ASSOCIATED ORDINANCES <br />a. The City Council will hold a public hearing to receive comments regarding a <br />recommendation by the Planning and Zoning Commission to adopt Ordinance 2023-3916 <br />amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte, Chapter 106 "Zoning" by granting <br />Zone Change #22-92000013, a change from General Commercial (GC) to Low Density <br />Residential (R-1) for a 2.92-acre tract of land located along S. 2nd St. and S. 31 St. between <br />St. and W. Fairmont Pkwy, and legally described Lots 23.32, Block 177, and Lots 1-11, 21- <br />32, and the northern 10 feet of lot 12, Block 178, Town of La Porte, Harris County, Texas; <br />followed by discussion and possible action to consider adopting Ordinance 2023-3916 <br />amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte, Chapter 106 "Zoning" by granting <br />Zone Change #22-92000013, a change from General Commercial (GC) to Low Density <br />Residential (R-1) for a 2.92-acre tract of land located along S. 2nd St. and S. 3rd St. between <br />I St. and W. There were no comments from the public. [Teresa Evans, Planning & Development Director] <br />Mayor Rigby opened the public hearing at 6:18 p.m. City Planner Ian Clowes provided a <br />presentation. Phillip Dunn spoke in support of a larger area of notification. Mayor Rigby closed the <br />public hearing at 6:31 p.m. <br />Without objection, the 200-foot notification area in Sections 106-171 and 106-194 of the City Code <br />of Ordinances was considered separately.
