CALL TO ORDER — Mayor Rigby called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br />2. INVOCATION — The invocation was given by Pastor Daniel Moore, Creekmont Baptist Church, and the <br />pledges were led by Councilperson Robbie McLarrin. <br />3. PRESENTATIONS, PROCLAMATIONS, AND RECOGNITIONS <br />a. Proclamation in recognition of Municipal Court Week. [Louis R. Rigby, Mayor] <br />b. Proclamation in recognition of Deputy City Secretary Sharon Harris, TRMC, MMC, RP. [Louis <br />R. Rigby, Mayor] <br />c. Proclamation in recognition of Emergency Medical Service Chief, Lisa Camp. [Louis R. Rigby, <br />Mayor] <br />4. CITIZEN COMMENT (Generally limited to five minutes per person; in accordance with state law, the <br />time may be reduced if there is a high number of speakers or other considerations.) <br />Donna O'Conner thanked Sharon Harris and Lisa Camp for their service; then spoke of her <br />neighborhood's long-term concern about 226 Bayshore; and spoke in support of respectful keeping of <br />chickens. Amanda Gerrish spoke in support of the ordinance regarding chicken keeping. Stephanie <br />Cardenas of La Porte Feed and Supply spoke in favor of chicken keeping and presented a petition in <br />support of same. <br />5. CONSENT AGENDA (Approval of Consent Agenda items authorizes each to be implemented in <br />accordance with staff recommendations provided. An item may be removed from the consent agenda <br />and added to the Statutory Agenda for full discussion upon request by a member of the Council present <br />at this meeting.) <br />a.
