<br />2005 Comprehensive Plan Review Committee <br />Minutes of August 15, 2005 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br />o Dispatch system will be changed within 3 or 4 months to allow every mode of communication to <br />the citizens to be activated within 2 minutes of an alarm. <br />o A 'Natural Disaster' section has been added to the Library. <br />o Remote wind indicators with remote access have been added to 10 locations throughout the <br />City. <br />o Intend to communicate with Transtar to gain access to traffic monitoring cameras along SH146 <br />and SH 225. <br />o Phone access to citizens in case of emergency improved due to access to the County 9-1-1 <br />phone registry, which contains unlisted numbers and new numbers. <br /> <br />6. DISCUSS SUMMARY OF COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, CHAPTERS 1-13 <br /> <br />o Department reviews of each chapter have been completed and submitted to the Committee. <br />o Figures of City expenditures were submitted to the Committee, as requested in the previous <br />meeting. <br />o The Committee will need time to look over the information that has been submitted to them. <br />o Discussion was had on different methods to review the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />7. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS <br />o There were none. <br /> <br />8. COMMITTEE COMMENTS <br /> <br />o Specific focus needs to be maintained on City accomplishment of Comprehensive Plan goals <br />and objectives. <br /> <br />Audio transmission for this meeting stops mid-discussion of Item 6. <br /> <br />9.
