Discuss Preparation of Goals and Objectives. <br />Mr. Keast provided examples of the City of Lockhart's goals and <br />objectives to assist the Committee in assigning goals and objectives for <br />each of the subcategories. The following were identified as Drainage <br />Goals: <br />Goal 1: Correct existing problems <br />a) identify existing problem areas <br />b) maintain existing infrastructure <br />c) develop a drainage plan w/ established priorities <br />d) capital funds <br />e) coordinate w/ other governmental agencies <br />f) ensure sufficient easements/right-of-way (ROW) <br />Goal 2: Prevent future problems <br />a) ensure there are sufficient easements/ROW <br />b) ensure evacuation routes are well drained in case of hurricane <br />c) establish guidelines and standards for infrastructure <br />d) revise/update building codes & ordinances <br />
