During preliminary design, identify tailwater conditions and other constraints for all <br />proposed locations to receive improvements. <br />6. Calculate drainage areas, runoff and allowable ponding volumes to find desired <br />conveyance location and; size structures & swales accordingly. Check available <br />locations. <br />7. Compare pre- and post-project peak flows for mitigation requirements. Determine <br />mitigation, updated RAS model and compare water surface elevations. <br />8. Prepare signed and sealed report for HCFCD submittal, include write up~ exhibits <br />and tables. <br />9. Meet with HCFCD to submit and discuss relief structures and methods in report. <br />10. -. HCFCD review period is estimated between two (2) and four (4) weeks <br />11. Address comments if any and submit revision. <br />12. Deliverables: <br /> <br />13. Copies of correspondence from He and HCFCD. <br />14. Originals of signed and sealed impact analysis for City and HCFCD. <br />15. Electronic copies in PDF format of report, models and calculations on Compact <br />Disks (CDs). <br /> <br />TERMS <br /> <br />In tbe event HCPID objects to the conclusions described in our report, or declines approval, in <br />lieu of further detailed study based on FEMA requirements that are not described under the <br />Scope of Basic Services, work shall be stopped and a meeting with the City and COLmty shall be <br />scheduled to identify additional work to be perfonned. <br /> <br />Specific items excluded from this proposal are Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR), <br />CLOMR based on Fill (CLOMR-F) or other submittals to FEM.A... These services are considered <br />additional services and may be perfonned by Klotz Associates for an additional fee. <br /> <br />BUDGET AND FEES <br /> <br />Klotz Associates proposes to do this work on a lump sum basis in accordance with the terms of <br />the Letter of Agreement for Consulting Services attached to this letter. Two signed originals are <br />enclosed. The engineering fee associated with performing these services is ~19,200.00. <br />
