<br />. Creekmont Park Outfall. Storm system tie-in to Harris County's Precinct 2 - 72" <br />storm sewer trunk line at North "H" Street is 1 005 complete and is functioning. <br />Personnel are currently beginning process of re-grading park to facilitate flow of <br />storm runoff to the "H" street system. Expect to complete the Project in Mid- <br />September. <br /> <br />In-House Design and Construction of City-initiated Projects. <br />. South La Porte Bay Outfalls. Drainage area mapped and potential outfalls <br />identified along South Broadway south of Fairmont Parkway. Oakhurst Street <br />selected as the initial project due to available ROW, central location and the <br />shortest avenue to the Bay. Design is 100% complete. Plans have been circulated <br />to affect utilities for possible relocation prior to bidding and construction. Expect <br />to bid the Project in late November or early December. <br />. South La Porte Drainage Maintenance Plan. The subdivisions along and east of <br />South Broadway south of Fairmont Parkway will be surveyed and mapped, <br />necessary improvements designed and constructed. This is an ongoing effort and <br />will begin upon completion of South La Porte Bay Outfalls. <br />In-House Drainage Maintenance Activities. <br />. Bayside Terrace. Cleaning of ditches and resetting of culverts has been <br />completed with exception to the south end of Fondren. Engineering is attempting <br />to determine a course of action for relief of the south end of Fondren Street. <br />Storm Inlet box repairs and improvements 100% complete. Remaining work to be <br />done: Personnel have begun water jetting of Faulk Court, Humphreville, Bonner <br />and Lane Court underground drainage system. Utilities Division is going to <br />assist, utilizing the Vactor truck to vacuum remaining mud out of the system. <br />Residents of theses streets are stating that they are not experiencing drainage <br />problems. <br />· Dwire and Bay Oaks. Personnel have completed all of Dwire Street and the East <br />end of Bay Oaks. Personnel are currently removing and resetting driveway <br />culverts (7) on the East end of Bay Oaks. Anticipate completing mid September. <br />Work requires: 1) Exposing pipe, 2) Removing existing pipe 3) Re-establishing <br />the subgrade flow line, 4) Placement of bedding gravel to grade, 5) Re-setting <br />pipe, 6) Backfill pipe with GS-IOO and compact, 7) Place minimum of 6" Type <br />"A" base as a travel surface and asphalt when necessary. <br />· Bay Colony. Engineering currently finalizing plans, scheduled for completion by <br />mid-September. Crew from Dwire / Bay Oaks will then move into Bay Colony to <br />install improvements and perform maintenance of ditches prior to cleaning of <br />underground systems. <br />· North and South Shady Lane. Upon completion of Creekmont Park Project, <br />personnel will proceed to North and South Shady River to re-inspect culverts and <br />open gravity drainage systems for debris from residents in the process of restoring <br />homes. The open ditch gravity system flow lines will be reestablished as <br />necessary. <br />· LobitlPHA Pre-check Facility. Staff met with PHA to discuss drainage obstructed <br />by construction of sound wall on the south side of the Barbour's Cut Pre-check <br />Facility. Preliminary agreement by PHA to reestablish drainage in existing <br />
