As of this date, the committee has only <br />recived one letter, that being from the Upjohn Company with no comments <br />because they are outside the city limits of La Porte. <br />NEW BUSINESS: Motion by J.M. Goodman, seconded by Fred Westergren, that <br />the committee approve the book as now written, and send it to the city's <br />legal adviser for review. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />Ayes: All for <br />Nays: None <br />The chairman pointed out to the committee that once the book has been <br />reviewed and approved by the city's legal representative, that it would <br />then go to the commission workshop, from there it would go to the <br />commission at a regular council meeting to be approved. He asked the <br />committee members to please be present on the workshop agenda when the <br />book is presented in workshop. <br />The chairman then thanked the members of the committee for all their <br />work over the past two years on their review and revision of the Fire <br />Code book. <br />ADJOURNMENT: Motion by Fred Westergren, seconded by J.M.
