• <br />MLNUT~S -REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LA PORTE FIRE CODE REVIEW COMMITTEE <br />FEBRUARY 18, 1982 <br />M~ERS OF THE COMMITTEE PRESENT: <br />Jack Owen, Joe Sease, Jerry Hodge, Carlos Smith, Tom Handy, Al Fields, <br />Paul Hickenbottom, Delbert Walker, Wilson Dugger. <br />Ervin Griffith representing David Paulissen <br />M~ERS OF THE COMMITTEE ABSENT: <br />Greg Yakim, Robert Byars, Mark Williams, James Sitton, Ellis Ebarb, <br />Morris Rose, & Kevin Graves. <br />OTHERS PRESENT: <br />John Dunham & Bob Mc Laughlin <br />PRESIDING: Jac~.Owen, Chairman <br /> <br />1. CALL Ti0 ORDER -Jack Owen called the meeting to order at 1903 hrs.. <br />2. READING OF THE MINUTES - The minutes were not read. They will be <br />rea at a next meeting. <br />3. OLD BUSINESS - None <br />4. NEW BUSIlVESS - A copy of a letter from Al Fields was passed out and <br />'scusse (See copy attached.) <br />FIRE OODE REVISION -Article 2 -Division 3 -Section 2.15 -Subsection <br />a - e There was an open discussion by the committee. <br />Motion to approve this revision was made by Delbert Walker. <br />Motion seconded Carlos Smith <br />Mlotion approved by a vote of <br />Ayes: 9 <br />Nays: 1 <br />FIRE CODE REVISION -Article 2 -Division 2 -Section 2.9 -Subsection (d) <br />Car os Smith questioned the twenty-five (25) feet mi.nim~n operational <br />corridor and turnaround for the pumper. There was a brief discussion and <br />it was decided to table this revision until Joe Sease and Paul Hickenbottom <br />could check on more information concerning this. <br />
