<br />Minutes of the La Porte Audit &mittee - January 24, 2005 - Page 2 e <br /> <br />4. Tax Resale Property <br /> <br />Tax Manager Kathy Powell presented two bids for tax resale property to the <br />Committee for approval. Ms. Powell recommended that one of the bids be approved <br />and the other be rejected. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Ebow to approve recommendation as <br />presented by Ms. Powell. A second by Committee Member Beasley. The motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. Assistant City Manager Cynthia Alexander presented the Committee with the First <br />Quarter (FY 2005) Investment Report. <br /> <br />Budget Investment Office Shelley Wolny presented an overview of the report. <br /> <br />5. Ms. Wolny presented the Committee with an overview of the Amended Investment <br />Policy. Most of the revisions are due to the Public Fund Investment Act. <br /> <br />7. Cynthia Alexander received and reviewed the Credit Card Report. <br /> <br />8. The Committee had comments. Ms. Alexander noted that Proposition 13 items will <br />be sent as information is received via email. Cynthia and the Committee thanked <br />Staff. Committee Members Ebow and Beasley had comments. Martha noted a phone <br />call from a citizen who wants to have Proposition 13 placed on the election ballot. <br />Cynthia noted that staff is staying on top ofthe school district issues. <br /> <br />9.
