<br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL CALLED REGULAR MEETING OF THE FISCAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE <br />March 29, 2010 <br /> <br />1. Call to Order <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Chuck Engelken at 5:04 p.m. <br /> <br />Members of Committee Present: Board Members Chuck Engelken, Louis Rigby, Tommy <br />Moser and Daryl Leonard. Daryl Leonard arrived at 5:32 p.m. <br /> <br />Also, Councilmember Zemanek was in attendance. <br /> <br />Members of Committee Absent: None <br /> <br />Members of City Council. City Executive Staff and City Employees Present: City Manager <br />Ron Bottoms, Assistant City Manager John Joerns, City Attorney Knox Askins, Director of <br />Finance Michael Dolby and City Secretary Martha Gillett <br /> <br />Others present: Kathryn Aguilar, Phillip Hoot, Ted Powell and Dottie Kaminski. <br /> <br />2. Consider approval of Minutes of the Special Called Regular Meeting of Fiscal Affairs <br />Committee held March 8, 2010. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Rigby to approve the minutes as presented. A <br />second by Committee Member Moser. The motion carried. <br /> <br />Ayes: Engelken, Rigby, Leonard and Moser <br />Nays: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />3. Discuss questions and inquires from citizens related to Town Plaza and the Alamo Building - <br />C. Engelken/K. Askins <br /> <br />Committee Chairman Chuck Engelken and City Attorney Knox Askins discussed the questions <br />and inquires from citizens related to Town Plaza and the Alamo Building. <br /> <br />The committee requested the following information to be discussed and followed up on at the <br />next meeting: <br /> <br />· Knox Askins to conduct a title search on the properties purchased by Garson at Five <br />Points <br />· Staff to obtain information on the URS Contract outlining pricing and reimbursable <br />· Staff to obtain information on landscaping for the Town Plaza. They would like a list <br />of items the $200,000 purchased <br />· Staff is to provide change orders associated to landscaping expenses <br />
