• ~ • <br />Page Two <br />La Porte Area Water Authority <br />Monthly Report <br />June, 1988 <br />Gray Properties(Big Island Slough route)-Title search was <br />done on possible existence of easement. No existing easment <br />was found. Title company has provided a list of affected <br />property owners. Tract map has been drawn. Negotiations <br />with Gray Properties is proceeding. A meeting has been <br />scheduled with Gray Properties representatives for the week <br />of July 11. <br />Heights Savings(Shoreacres route)-Heights Savings <br />representatives currently reviewing easement contract from <br />LPAWA. <br />Status of Application to Texas Water Development Board: <br />Texas Water Commission approved the application for T4JDB <br />funds during their meeting of July 5, 1988. Included is a <br />letter from John Armstrong, Authority Attorney, concerning <br />this matter. <br />Miscellaneous Items: <br />Annexation of Bay MUD by La Porte Area Water Authority- <br />Included in Boardmembers" Information Packet is a <br />timeline outlining earliest possible dates for all of <br />the activities required for annexation of territory by <br />the Authority. <br />Anticipated Schedule for Completion of LPA41A Project- <br />An anticipated schedule for completion of the LPAWA <br />project has been prepared by the Engineer and is <br />included in your Information Packet. Staff will do all <br />within their power to adhere as closely as possible to <br />this schedule. <br />Expenses incurred by the City of La Porte to be reimbursed by <br />the Authority- <br />A recap of expenses paid by the City of La Porte on <br />behalf of the Authority during fiscal year 1987/88 has <br />been prepared by the Finance Department and is included <br />in the Information Packet. This only covers the current <br />fiscal year. Expense statements for the past years will <br />be prepared during the yearly City of La Porte audit. <br />
