<br /> <br />April 14, 2009 <br /> <br />CITY OF LA PORTE FIVE POINTS PLAZA <br /> <br />ADDENDUM NO.2 <br /> <br />The undersigned also acknowledges that prior to execution of the Contract he will furnish "separated <br />contract" amounts for any Alternatives or Unit Prices accepted by the Owner. <br /> <br />It is agreed that, in the event the undersigned fails to enter into such contract and furnish such bonds <br />within the time and in the manner required, the bidder will forfeit to owner, as liquidated damages, t <br />bidder's bond, as provided in the specifications. <br /> <br />TIM E OF COM PLETION <br /> <br />The Contractor shall begin work within ten (10) days after date of written authorization by th~ Owner's <br />RepresentaJjve. The work to be performed under this contract shall be substantially completed in <br />I ~ 0 calendar days plus any extended days allowed by the Owner's <br />Representative in accordance with the Specifications. For each calendar day that the work is not <br />substantially complete after the expiration of the time as calculated [ten (10) days from written <br />authorization plus Consecutive Calendar Days plus Extended Days] the sum of Five Hundred and 00/100 <br />Dollars ($500.00) per calendar day will be deducted or to become due the Contractor, not as a penalty, <br />but as LIQUIDATED DAMAGES and added expense for supervision. <br /> <br />Having successfully examining the GENERAL CONDITIONS and the SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS <br />and SPECIAL CONDITIONS, the Plans, the Specifications and Addenda thereto, as URS Corporation, <br />the Architect on this project, as well as the premises and all conditions affecting the Work, the <br />undersigned proposes to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to achieve final completion <br />of the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents for the following sums: <br /> <br />As a supplement to the Lump Sum pricing the City of La Porte requests the following items priced as they <br />are units and sums that are part of your bid.
