® (~ <br />7-125 Clinic. • A "clinic" is the office of one or morE: medical doctors <br />who may or may not have associated in the practice of their <br />professions . <br />7-126 ~ Commission. The word "commission" shall mean the City Plan- <br />ning and Zoning Commission of. the City of La]?orte. <br />7 -127 Court. A "court" is an open, unoccupied space, bounded on <br />more than two sides. by the walls of a building. An inner court <br />is a court entirelysurrounded by the exterior walls of a building. <br />An outer court is a court having one side open to a street, alley, <br />yard, or other permanent open space. <br />7-128 Development, or to Develop. A "development" includes the con- <br />struction of a new building or any structure or.: a building lot, the <br />relocation. of an existing building on another building lot, or the <br />use of open land for a riew use. To ~"develop" is to .create a <br />development . <br />7-129 District. A "district" is a zoning district which is a part of the <br />City wherein regulations of this ordinance are uniform. <br />7 -130 Duplex. A "duplex" is a building built for, occupied by, or in- <br />tended for the occupancy of two families . <br />7 -131 Dwelling. A "dwelling" is a building or portion thereof but not <br />a house trailer, designed and used ~exclusivel~r for residential <br />occupancy, including one-family dwellings, tv~ro-family dwellings, <br />and multiple-family dwellings, but. not including hotels, motels, <br />or lodging houses. <br />7 -132 Dwelling, .Attached. An "attached dwelling" is one which is <br />joined to another dwelling at one or more sidE:s by a part wall <br />or walls . <br />7 -133 Dwelling, Detached. A "detached dwelling" i;s one which is en- <br />tirely surrounded by open space on the same building lot. <br />7-134 ~ Dwelling,~Multiple-Family. ~ A "multiple-family dwelling" is a <br />• building o~r portion thereof constructed for and/or occupied by <br />three or more families and containing three or more dwelling <br />units . <br />7-135 Dwelling, Single-Family. A "single-family dwelling" is a building <br />containing only one dwelling unit and occupied. by only one family. <br />7-136 Dwelling, Two-Family. A "two-family dwelling" is a building ~, <br />containing two dwelling units and/or occupied by two families . <br />v ~~~ <br />
