A. Thomas, <br />Commissioners C. D. C ristensen, I. J. Kibodeaux, A. Uel <br />Price, and C. D. Boyle. <br />MEMBERS OF THE CITY COMMISSION ABSENT: None. <br />MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION PRESENT: Walter <br />Ro erson, C airman; Wm. S. Love, Jr., Secretary; Lois Compton, <br />J. H. Smith, and Wm. R. Shedelbower. <br />MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION ABSENT: None. <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: Larry L. Broussard, Director <br />of Finance; Margie Goyen, City Clerk; Knox Askins, City <br />Attorney; Larry Morton, Acting Public Works Director; H. CALL TO ORDER - Mayor Thomas called the meeting to <br />order. <br />2. INVOCATION - The invocation was given by Commissioner <br />Christensen. <br />3. JOINT PUBLIC HEARING REF: REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTIES <br />ADJACENT TO THE 'SOUTHERN PA~CIF I'C RAILROAD . <br />Mayor Thomas called to order the joint public hearing <br />with the Planning and Zoning Commission to consider <br />rezoning certain properties adjacent to the Southern <br />Pacific Railroad, from Residential to Commercial, <br />with Special Use Permits for Light Industry. <br />It was ascertained that notices to all property owners <br />• and property owners within 200 feet of the property <br />
