A. Thomas, <br />Commissioners Bill Love, I. J. Kibodeaux, Virginia Cline, <br />and C. D. Boyle. <br />MEMBERS OF THE CITY COMMISSION ABSENT: None. <br />MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION PRESENT: Walter <br />Ro erson, C airman; Kerry R. Bever y, J. H. Smit , and <br />Charles D. Christensen. <br />MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION ABSENT: Wm. <br />R. S edel ower. <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: Larry L. Broussard, Director <br />o Finance; Mart a Ho oway, Assistant City Clerk; Knox <br />Askins, City Attorney; Larry L. Morton, Director of Public <br />Works; H. F. Freeman, Chief of Police. <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS ABSENT: Margie Goyen was out of town. <br />OTHERS PRESENT: Mr. Jim Hutchison, Bush, Hutchison & <br />Associates, Inc. <br />PRESIDING: Mayor Thomas. <br />+ + + <br />1. CALL TO ORDER - Mayor Thomas called the meeting to order. <br />2. INVOCATION - The invocation was given by Commissioner <br />Love. <br />3. JOINT PUBLIC HEARING - CONSIDER REZONING THE EAST ONE-HALF <br />OUTLOT , NE'BR'ASKA SYNDICATE - FROM RESIDENTIAL TO <br />COMMERCIAL FOR NURSIN HOME USE ONLY - Mayor T omas asked <br />i t ere were any present to speak against rezoning of <br />this area; there were none. Mayor Thomas then recognized <br />Mr. J. P. Bonnett who spoke for rezoning for nursing <br />home use only, and explained the proposed facility <br />would be a 60 bed home with room for future expansion. <br />.7 <br />
