The meeting was called to order by Chairman Andy Wilson <br />at 7:05 p.m. <br />Members of the Commission_ resent: Chairman Andy Wilson, <br />Commissioners Lola Phillips, Ed Murphree, Charlie Doug <br />Boyle, Karl Johnston <br />Members of the Commission__absent: Commissioners R.J. <br />Blackwell, Janet Graves <br />Ci~__ Staff Present: Chief Building Official David <br />Paulissen, Director Community Development John Joerns, <br />Assistant City Attorney John Armstrong and Executive <br />Secretary Gwen Vann <br />Others_ Present: Bayshore Sun's Barbara Neal, Bruce <br />Hammack, Mrs. Adair Sullivan, Rita Patterson, David <br />• Wheat, V.P. of Bayport National Bank, Janet Gray and <br />other interested citizens. <br />2. Chairman Andy Wilson asked that we suspend the agenda <br />and entertain minutes of the meeting for Sept. 5, 1985. <br />Discussion on last page of minutes where Chairman Wilson <br />asked Mr. Murphree to file a report. Due to the fact <br />that there was no explanation for this, it was suggested <br />that this portion be struck from the minutes. <br />Chairman Wilson asked if any other questions on the <br />minutes. Since there were no question, the minutes were <br />approved by the Commission. <br />• 3. Public Hearing was called to order. <br />Item 1 - <br />To consider request of Al Pardoe to rezone a tract of <br />land (legal description attached) at Hwy. 225 and Hwy. <br />146 from Zone "C" commercial to zone "I" industrial to <br />allow a new car marshalling yard. <br />Chief Building Official David Paulissen explained that <br />everything was in order, staff sees no problem with the <br />rezoning. <br />• <br />
