~~ • Minutes of Planning and Zoning October 3, 1985 Page 2 Chairman Wilson asked if there was anyone who wished to speak in favor or in opposition to Mr. Pardoe's request for rezoning. AIo one did. He then asked if anyone was there to represent Mr. Pardoe. Ms. Rita Patterson approached the microphone and stated her name and that she was with Decker McKim Realtors. No one else had anything to say in reference to this rezoning so Mr. Wilson moved to Item 2. Item 2 - Request of Mr. Ron McCrary to rezone lts. 1-32, blk. 653 from their present "C" commercial classification to "I" industrial. The purpose being to make the property consistent with other properties in the immediate area and to make the property easier to sell or lease. • Mr. Paulissen told that as of now, there was no proposed use for this property. This area is recommended to be heavy industrial uses. It does compare favorably with the Comprehensive Plan. Chairman Wilson asked if there was an applicant present to speak on behalf of the rezoning. Mr. David Wheat, Vice President of Bayport National Bank. He stated that Mr. Paulissen had stated the request quite succinctly. There were no questions or oppositions to the request. Chairman Wilson declared the public hearing closed. He then asked for a motion on item no. 1 to approve the request as proposed. Motion by Mr._Boyle, Seconded _by Mr. Joh~~on~._~he_mQt~on carried with_no opposition.
