<br />• <br />• LA PORTE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 11, 1988 <br />Chairman Doug Latimer called the meeting to order at 7:04 P.M. <br />Members Present: Commissioners Jack Gresham, Janet Graves, Inge <br />Browder, Bobby Blackwell <br />Members Absent: Commissioners Charles Boyle and Lola Phillips <br />City Staff Present: Joel Albrecht, Director of Comm. Development; <br />Ervin Griffith, Building Official/Zoning Administrator; John <br />Armstrong, Asst. City Attorney; Nina Dye, Inspection Secretary; <br />John Joerns, Asst. City Manager; B. Don Skelton, Councilman <br />Others Present: Eddie Gray, David Brady, John Paul Zemanek, Joe <br />Camp, Jr., Joe Pizzatola, Linda Westergren, J.M. Goodman, Rob <br />• Schmerler, Gladys Roth and other interested citizens <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman. Doug Latimer at 7:04 P.M. <br />There was a motion by Inge Browder and a second by Janet Graves to <br />approve the minutes from the Public Hearing and Regular Meeting of <br />January 28, 1988. The vote was unanimous and the motion carried. <br />The next on the agenda is to discuss the zoning text items of the Six <br />Month Review. Joel Albrecht gave a brief review of the new revised <br />landscaping requirements. <br />There was a motion by Inge Browder and a second by Janet Graves to <br />accept the revised landscaping requirements. The vote was unanimous <br />and the motion carried. <br />Joel Albrecht read the revised miscellaneous definition section. There <br />was discussion on several definitions and they are as follows: <br />1. The reason for the definition for alley is to clarify its usage. <br />The 16ft. alleys will be considered as utility easements and not <br />intended for vehicular traffic. <br />
