This will complete the rest of Area <br />I. <br />Mrs. Graves called for a vote for the remaining land in Area I <br />with boundaries as follows: bounded by McCabe Road on the north, <br />the west branch of Taylor Bayou on the west, the north boundary of <br />the Shady River Subdivision on the south, and Old Hwy. 146 on the <br />east. All were in favor. <br />AREA II - Shady River Subdivision - retain the low-density <br />development with a commercial node fronting old Hwy. 146. Vote <br />was called for the land in Area II with boundaries as follows: <br />south of the extension of Bayside Dr., Taylor Bayou on the west, <br />going around the Shady River Subdivision, bacl, to Old Hwy. 146 on <br />the east (Commercial node), to the north continue the "B" <br />designation. All were in favor. <br />AREA III - Pine Bluff - Staff's suggestion was for <br />mid/high-density. Staff was asked if this land use would cause <br />some developing later on and Mr. Albrecht felt sure that <br />re-development would take place in the future. Vote was called <br />for on the area with boundaries as follows: old La Porte city <br />limits on the north, Galveston bay on the east, and Old Hwy. 146 <br />on the west, and going down and including the existing apartments <br />one block north of Desire Dr., then north of there and including <br />the apartments on Falk Court. All were in favor. <br />The remaining portion of Area III, staff is recommending low <br />density with a commercial node at the south west corner. <br />Boundaries are as follows: Pine Bluff Subdivision on the north, <br />Galveston bay on the east, Shoreacres city limits on the south and <br />Old Hwy. 146 on the west. All were in favor. <br />AREA IV - Located on the south side of Shoreacres - Staff has <br />recommended low-density with a bubble of mid-density in the center <br />on both sides of Sunrise Dr. Vote was called for on the area with <br />boundaries as follows: Old Hwy. 146 on the west, City of <br />Shoreacres on the north, Galveston bay on the east and Harris <br />County Navigation District on the south. The area of mid-density <br />will be designated as a PUD as voted on by the Commission. All <br />were in favor. <br />BREAK: 8:20 - 8:35 PM <br />Meeting was called back to order by Mrs. Graves at 8:35. <br />• Mr. Albrecht stated that before beginning on the proposed zoning <br />lines, he would like to bring the Park Zone hiap into the <br />discussion for the Commission to review. <br />
