Don Skelton, Deotis Gay, Guy Sutherland, Bob <br />Thrower, Bob McLaughlin and other citizens <br /> <br />1) CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order by Chairman Inge Browder at 6:00 PM. <br /> <br />2) APPROVE MINUTES OF JULY 18,1991 REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />A motion was made by Wayne Anderson and seconded by Doug Martin to approve <br />the minutes as submitted. All were in favor and the motion passed. Betty Waters <br />abstained from voting since she was not present for the last meeting. <br /> <br />3) CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Dennis Dunham - Restated his position being in favor of carports for all residents <br />of La Porte. <br /> <br />City Councilman Deotis Gay - Feels that the carport subject should not be a <br />-"Fairmont Park" vs. "Old La Porte" issue. <br /> <br />Teresa Lomar - Restates her position being in favor of carports for anyone who <br />wants to construct one. <br /> <br />R. W. Smith - Felt confused about where the carport issue stands at present. Mr. <br />Albrecht stated that a straw vote was taken to put the item on the agenda for a <br />Public Hearing. <br />
