• <br />• MINUTES <br />PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING <br />DECEMBER 17, 1992 <br />Members Present: Chairman Betty Waters, Commissioners Eugene Edmonds, <br />Howard Ebow, Dottie Kaminski, Inge Browder <br />Members Absent: Commissioners Doug Martin, Wayne Anderson <br />City Staff Present: Planning Director Chuck Harrington, City Attorney Knox <br />Askins, Planning Secretary Peggy Lee <br />Others Present: Henry Blair, Viva Foster <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />Meeting was called to order by Chairman Waters at 6:11 PM. <br />Note: Meeting was delayed approximately ten (10) minutes because Municipal Court <br />• was being held in the Council Chambers. <br />II. APPROVE MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 5,1992 SPECIAL CALLED MEETING <br />A motion was made by Inge Browder and seconded by Howard Ebow to approve the <br />minutes as submitted. All were in favor and the motion passed. <br />III. OPEN PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER SPECIAL CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT REQUEST SCU92-002 FOR 205 NORTH 11TH STREET. PERMIT IS <br />REQUESTED TO ALLOW STONE CASTLE INDUSTRIES TO LOCATE AT THIS <br />FACILITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF MANUFACTURING ARCHITECTURAL AND <br />ORNAMENTAL TRIM PIECES FROM SYNTHETIC STONE. THIS BUSINESS <br />ACTIVITY (SIC 3272) IS LISTED AS A CONDITIONAL USE IN LIGHT <br />INDUSTRIAL ZONES. <br />Public Hearing was opened at 6:12 PM by Chairman Waters. <br />Mr. Henry Blair, owner of Stone Castle Industries, resides at 18727 Martinique <br />Drive, Houston, Texas 77058. Mr. Blair proposes to manufacture architectural and <br />ornamental trim pieces at the North 11th Street location. He provided the <br />
