DISCUSS REPEAT OF LOTS 1-9 AND 17-32, AND TRS.10,11, AND 12 <br />OF BLK 165, TOWN OF LA FORTE, WHICH IS LOCATED IN THE <br />900 BLOCK OF SOUTH 8m STREET. THE REPEAT HAS BEEN <br />REQUESTED FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECONFIGURING THE <br />LOTS INTO ONE TRACT OF LAND KNOWN AS I;INRESTRICTED <br />RESERVE A. <br />Mr. Rankin presented staff's report. The request for a Replat of Block 165 was <br />reviewed by staff. The applica:rt requested the Replat for the purpose of <br />consolidating flanking lots into one lot to be identified as Unrestricted Reserve <br />A. The Replat would promote development of a 67 unit hotel/motel located <br />between Little Cedar Bayou and South 8`~ Street. <br />Notices were waded to six adjacent property owners. One response was <br />received in favor of the Replat; none opposed <br />Staff recommended approval of the Replat with several conditions. <br />i. PROPONENTS <br />Paul Mayeux, an architect for the project, addressed the Commission. An <br />upscale motel is proposed for the site. They are working with the Harris <br />County Flood Control District to meet their requirements for draining of the <br />site. <br />2. OPPONENTS <br />There were none. <br />X.
