CONSIDER RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL FOR SPECIAL <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT #SCU97-002. <br />No action was taken on this item Special Conditional Use Permit #97-002 was <br />requested in conjunction with Rezone Request #97-003, which has been withdrawn <br />from the agenda. <br />XIII. CONSIDER REPEAT OF LOTS 1-9 AND 17-32, AND TRS.10,11, AND 12 <br />OF BLB 165, TOWN OF LA FORTE. <br />A motion was made by Eugene Edmonds to approve the Replat of Lots 1-9 and 17- <br />32, and Trs.10,11, and 12 of B1k.165, Town of La Porte with the following <br />conditions <br />1. All signatures required on the plat shall be obtained prior to formal <br />recordation. <br />2. A recorded mylar shall be provided to the City. <br />3. Public Hearing costs of $37.95 shall be paid by the applicants. <br />The motion was seconded by Sandie StanisLewski. All were in favor and the motion <br />passed. <br />XIV. STAFF REPORTS <br />Mr. Raskin reviewed several items with the Commission. <br />^ June 30,1997, letter to Chairperson Waters from City Manager Robert T. <br />Herrera regarding Planning & Zoning Commission review of subdivision <br />marketing signs. <br />^ July 17,1997, letter from Assistant City Manager John Joerns regarding <br />shipping containers in residential zones. Commission Members that were <br />presern all agreed that shippng containers should not be allowed in <br />residential zones. Mr. Rankin noted this would be enforced by staff when <br />
