Mr. Haynsworth believed <br />that some rail traffic would leave Bayport Industrial District but <br />would not be entering Bayport from the north. <br />Doyle Toups, of Grubb ~ Ellis, addressed the Commission. <br />Upon completion of the industrial phase of the project, new <br />development should occur that would service the first phase. <br />Tom Northrup, of Northrup Associates, addressed the <br />Commission. Mr. Northrup expressed the need for Commission <br />approval of the Special Conditional Use Permit so that the <br />development team could move forward with a development site <br />plan, preliminary plat, etc. <br />Mr. Northrup addressed the issues that staff outlined in their <br />report. Both Mr. Northrup and Mr. Toups answered questions <br />from the Commission. <br />2. OPPONENTS <br />There were none. <br />City staff and Mr. Haynsworth's development team will work <br />together to produce the documentation that will be necessary for a <br />Special Conditional Use Permit. They will try and have it ready by <br />the next Planning 8~ Zoning meeting, which will be September 17, <br />1998. <br />VIII. CLOSE PUBLIC HEARINGS. <br />Chairperson Waters closed the public hearings at 7:22 PM. <br />IX. CONSIDER A RECOMMENATION TO CITY COUNCIL REGARDING AN <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 106 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES BY <br />AMENDING SECTION 106-521(C), FOOTNOTE. <br />A motion was made by Sandie Staniszewski to recommend City Council <br />approval of an amendment to Chapter 106 of the Code of Ordinances by <br />amending Section 106-521(c), Footnote. <br />The motion was seconded by Dottie Kaminski. All were in favor and the <br />motion passed. <br />
