• <br />• <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES OF OCTOBER 15, 1998 <br />Members Present: Chairperson Betty Waters, Commission Members Michael <br />Jetty, Hal Lawler, Sandie Staniszewski <br />Members Absent: Dottie Kaminski, Jim Zoller, Melton Wolters <br />City Staff Present: Assistant City Manager John Joerns, Planning Director Doug <br />Kneupper, Assistant City Attorney John Armstrong, Planning <br />Secretary Peggy Lee <br />I. CALL TO ORDER. <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Waters at 6:00 PM. <br />II. APPROVE MINUTES OF THE SEPTEMBER 17, 1998, REGULAR <br />MEETING. <br />A motion was made by Sandie Staniszewski to approve the minutes of <br />September 17, 1998. The motion was seconded by Michael Jetty. All <br />were in favor and the motion passed. <br />III. CONSIDER FINAL PLAT FOR SAM T'S SUBDIVISION. <br />Mr. Kneupper presented staffs report. Debra R. Taylor, Manager for <br />WGS, requested a Final Plat for Sam T's Subdivision located at 1612 <br />Underwood Road. The applicant is platting the 1.1478 acre tract for the <br />purpose of developing a commercial business. David Schoolcraft was <br />present at the meeting as a representative. <br />Staff recommended approval of the plat stating it satisfied applicable <br />provisions of State Law and City Ordinances. <br />A motion was made by Sandie Staniszewski to approve the Final Plat for <br />Sam T's Subdivision contingent upon the following items being completed <br />prior to releasing the plat for recordation: <br />1. Include a statement on the plat requiring sidewalk installation by <br />the owner. <br />2. Make corrections to signature blocks on plat. <br />The motion was seconded by Hal Lawler. All were in favor and the motion <br />passed. <br />
