MINOR PLATS AND AMENDING PLATS <br />Mr. Kneupper discussed a proposed amendment to the <br />Development Ordinance that would allow staff to approve minor <br />plats (involving four or fewer lots fronting on an existing street and <br />not requiring the creation or the extension of municipal facilities). <br />He informed the Commission that the amendment was sent to <br />Council for their consideration on October 26, 1998, at which time <br />Council tabled the item and directed it back to the Commission to <br />look at a size of lot or acreage restriction. <br />Staff recommended imposing a ten -acre limit on the size of lot or <br />acreage to the proposed amendment. <br />The Commission agreed with staffs recommendation. The item will <br />be sent to the next Council meeting. <br />Mr. Kneupper gave a brief update on the progress that has been <br />made updating the Comprehensive Plan. <br />Eddie Gray took a few moments to ask the Commission several <br />questions he thinks should be answered before the City makes a <br />decision to create a TIRZ. <br />IX.
