PRESENTATION BY THE DEVELOPER OF FAIRMONT OAKS <br />APARTMENTS PROJECT, WHICH IS TO BE LOCATED AT 9801 WEST <br />FAIRMONT PARKWAY. <br />Dewayne Henson addressed the Commission. He noted that the <br />Commission has granted Preliminary Plat approval, with conditions, for the <br />Fairmont Oaks Apartment Project. Mr. Henson provided the Commission <br />with copies of the proposed landscape layout and passed around photos <br />of similar apartment projects they have done in the past. <br />Mr. Henson introduced the architect for the project, Mark Mucasey. Mr. <br />Mucasey described the layout of the project. <br />All of the conditions of Preliminary Plat approval were discussed. The <br />project layout does not allow for ingress/egress from Underwood Road. <br />The Commission requested the design of the project be changed to show <br />an Underwood entrance with card access. Mr. Mucasey stated that could <br />be done and suggested a layout that addressed the Commission's <br />concerns. <br />IX. REVIEW DRAFT DRAINAGE CRITERIA CHAPTER FOR INCLUSION IN <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT CRITERIA MANUAL. <br />Mr. Kneupper reviewed with the Commission, the draft drainage criteria <br />chapter being proposed for inclusion in the Public Improvement Criteria <br />Manual (PICM). <br />Eddie Gray addressed the Commission. Mr. Gray asked for the <br />opportunity to review the criteria with Mr. Kneupper, especially Sections <br />5.5.1 and 5.7. <br />Knox Askins suggested the Commission take another look at the drainage <br />criteria at the Commission's June meeting, prior to sending a <br />recommendation to City Council. <br />Mr. Kneupper will prepare additional information for review at the next <br />meeting. <br />X. STAFF REPORTS <br />Mr. Malik updated the Commission on the status of the election and noted <br />there would be a benefit barbecue at Little Cedar Bayou Park on May 22"d <br />to raise money to help the family of a City employee, Domingo Cisneros, <br />who was injured while on the job. <br />
