Screening of storage area shall be achieved by the following: <br />a. A three-foot (3') berm shall be constructed along the front and <br />sides of the storage area. <br />b. Landscaping shall be planted on top of the berm and shall be <br />ten to twelve feet (10'-12') high at the time of planting. <br />c. Landscaping shall be fast growing and green year round, such <br />as Oak and Green Ash with assorted shrubs. <br />5. Landscaping shall be setback a distance so as not to interfere with <br />overhead utilities. <br />6. Landscaping shall be maintained by the property owner and/or occupant. <br />Irrigation may be required in order to achieve acceptable maintenance. <br />7. Stacking shall be limited to four (4) containers high, in a pyramid manner. <br />8. Security fencing shall be installed. <br />Formal consideration regarding this matter will be at a future meeting. <br />VII. STAFF REPORTS <br />Chairperson Waters announced that Commission Member Michael Jetty had tendered <br />his resignation effective immediately. Mr. Jetty and his wife are moving from La Porte. <br />Mr. Malik thanked the Commission and staff for encouraging and supporting him during <br />the past year and offered well wishes to everyone for the upcoming year. <br />Vill.
