CALL TO ORDER. <br />Meeting called to order by Chairperson Waters at 6:00 PM. <br />II. APPROVE MINUTES OF THE APRIL 27, 2000, SPECIAL CALLED REGULAR <br />MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING. <br />Motion by Sandie George to approve the Minutes of Apri127, 2000. Motion seconded by <br />Melton Wolters. All were in favor and the motion carved. <br />III. ADMINISTER OATH OF OFFICE TO RALPH DORSETT. <br />City Attomey Knox Askins administered the Oath of Office to Ralph Dorsett. <br />IV. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF FIRST AMENDING PLAT FOR SUMMER WINDS <br />SUBDIVISION, SECTION 3. <br />City Planner Brad Ellis presented staffs report. The Commission approved the Final Plat <br />for Section 3 of Summer Winds Subdivision on May 20, 1999. Earl Wilburn is requesting a <br />first amending plat in order to reduce a 16' utility easement to 8' on Lots 27, 28, and 29 of <br />Block 1. This action will provide more space in the backyards of these lots. HL&P, Entex, <br />SWBT, and Time Warner Communications have no objection to the amendment. Staff <br />recommended approval of the first amending plat. <br />Motion by Melton Wolters to approve the first amending plat of Summer Winds <br />Subdivision, Section 3. Motion seconded by Sandie George. All were in favor and the <br />motion carried. <br />V. REVIEW DRAFT OF COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE. <br />Breat Keast, of Wilbur Smith Associates, presented to the Commission, a brief overview of <br />the following chapters of the Comprehensive Plan Update: <br />CHAPTER 11 -PUBLIC SAFETY <br />CHAPTER 12 -REDEVELOPMENT STRATEGY <br />CHAPTER 13 -IMPLEMENTATION <br />
