CALL TO ORDER. <br />Chairperson Waters called the meeting to order at 6:20 P.M. <br />II. APPROVE MINUTES OF THE MARCH 20, 2003, REGULAR MEETING &r PUBLIC <br />HEARING. <br />Motion by Hal Lawler to approve the Minutes of March 20, 2003. Second by Ralph Dorsett. CONTINUE A PUBLIC HEARING FROM MARCH 20, 2003, TO CONSIDER REZONE <br />REQUEST #R03-002 FOR 15.6 ACRES OF LAND; TR 31 AND PART OF TR 32, W.M. <br />JONES SURVEY, A-482, AS SUBMITTED BY EDDIE V. GRAY, WHICH SEEKS TO <br />REZONE THE PROPERTY FROM GENERAL COMMERCIAL (GC) TO LOW -DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL (R-1). <br />A. STAFF PRESENTATION <br />Staff recommended the item be postponed City Planner, Gwen Goodwin, stated the <br />applicant was unable to meet with staff to discuss revising the request to include <br />additional acreage in the R-1 zone, as suggested by the Commission at the previous <br />meeting. <br />B. THE APPLICANT, GSL INVESTMENT, INC., SEEKS TO <br />REZONE THE PROPERTY FROM MEDIUM DENSITY- RESIDENTIAL (R-2) TO <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) DISTRICT. <br />A. STAFF PRESENTATION <br />Ms. Goodwin reported that the applicant submitted a letter to the City requesting the <br />item be postponed until May 15`t'. <br />
