<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES OF APRil 15, 2004 <br /> <br />Members Present: Betty Waters, Dottie Kaminski, Ralph Dorsett, Doretta Finch, Nick <br />Barrera, Paul Berner, and Alternate Member Hal Lawler <br /> <br />Members Absent: Kirby Linscomb, Jr. and Alternate Member Ross Morris <br /> <br />City Staff Present: Interim Planning Director, Nicholas Finan; City Planner, Wayne Sabo; <br />Planning Coordinator, Masood Malik; City Prosecutor, Clark Askins; and <br />Planning Secretary, Peggy Lee <br /> <br />I. CAll TO ORDER <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Chairperson Waters at 6:00 P.M. <br /> <br />II. APPROVE MINUTES OF THE MARCH 29, 2004, REGULAR MEETING & PUBLIC <br />HEARING. <br /> <br />Motion by Ralph Dorsett to approve the Minutes of March 29, 2004. Chairperson Waters <br />asked for an amendment to the minutes to reflect she did not vote on Item XV (Special <br />Conditional Use Permit SCU04-003 for a multi-family development for Robert <br />Burchfield). Second by Doretta Finch. The motion carried. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br />Abstain: <br /> <br />Dorsett, Finch, Kaminski, Barrera, Berner, Lawler, and Waters <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />III. CONSIDER A PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR GREEN CREST SUBDIVISION TO BE <br />lOCATED ALONG NORTH "l" STREET NEAR UNDERWOOD ROAD. <br /> <br />City Planner, Wayne Sabo, presented staff's report. The proposed Green Crest <br />subdivision consists of 54 single-family units on 12.95 acres along Underwood Road and <br />North ilL". The property is zoned R-1 and General Commercial. Staff recommended <br />approval of the preliminary plat with conditions outlined in the report. <br /> <br />Chairperson Waters recommended this item be tabled until after the public hearing item <br />to rezone a portion of this property. . <br /> <br />Motion by Paul Berner to table consideration of the preliminary plat for Green Crest <br />Subdivision until after the public hearing item to rezone. Second by Doretta Finch. The <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br />Abstain: <br /> <br />Berner, Finch, Dorsett, Kaminski, Barrera, Lawler, and Waters <br />None <br />None <br />
