Betty Waters, Dottie Kaminski, Doretta Finch, Nick Barrera, Paul Berner, <br />and Alternate Member• Hal Lawler <br />Members Absent: Kirby Linscomb, Jr., Ralph Dorsett, and Alternate Member Ross Morris <br />City Staff Present: Interim Planning Director, Nicholas Finan; City Planner, Wayne Sabo; <br />Planning Coordinator, Masood Malik; City Prosecutor, Clark Askins; and <br />Planning Secretary, Peggy Lee <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />Meeting called to order by Chairperson Waters at 6:00 P.M. <br />2. APPROVE MINUTES OF THE APRIL 15, 2004, REGULAR MEETING & PUBLIC <br />HEARING. <br />Motion by Paul Berner to approve. the' Minutes of, April 15, 2004. Second by Doretta <br />Finch. The motion carried. <br />Ayes: Berner, Finch, Kaminski, Barrera; Lawler, and Waters <br />Nays: None <br />Abstain: None <br />3. CONSIDER FINAL PLAT FOR FAIRMONT PARK EAST SECTION 11. <br />City Planner, Wayne Sabo, presented staffs report. As proposed, Section 11 consists of <br />approximately 19 acres bounded by Spencer 'Hwy.. and Myrtle Creek Drive. Staff <br />recommended approval of the final plat with the items outlined in staffs report. <br />Motion by Dottie Kaminski to approve the final plat'of.Fairmont Park East Section'11 with <br />the following items being addressed prior to recordation of the plat: <br />■ All construction improvements are complete at site. <br />■ . Furnish approval letter from Harris County Flood Control District for the drop <br />structure on Big Island Slough. <br />■ Sidewalks shall be installed along both sides of all public streets and along <br />detention area to connect Block 2 and Block 3. <br />■ Sidewalks are constructed along -north side of Spencer Highway in both <br />directions leading to Big Island Slough on the east and towards west end of <br />subdivision. <br />Add a note -on the face of the plat that surface maintenance of .20' utility <br />easement to Big Island Slough and detention basin will be the sole responsibility <br />of the Homeowner's Association. <br />■ Reference of the above should also be noted in the subdivision's covenants and <br />restrictions provided to be approved by the City Attorney. <br />■ Payment of $319.41 shall be made to the City for street sign installation. <br />
