<br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />Minutes of February 21, 2008 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br />Mr. Barrera inquired about the possibility of scheduling a workshop with the Commission, <br />Council and Staff to discuss hotels along Fairmont Parkway. <br /> <br />Mr. Malik reminded Commissioners about the Bayport Cruise Terminal tour next Thursday. <br /> <br />6. COMMISSION COMMENTS <br /> <br />Chairperson Muston allowed a member of the audience to address the Commission. Kathryn <br />Aguilar, a five year resident of La Porte, has been involved with restoration of several historic <br />homes in the area. Ms. Aguilar is opposed to the proposed hotel replacing the Sylvan Beach <br />Pavilion, due to the pavilion's historic nature. <br /> <br />7. ADJOURN <br /> <br />Motion by Paul Berner to adjourn. Second by Les Bird. The motion carried.
