Planning and Zoning Commission <br />Minutes of January 16, 2014 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />Commissioners requested the definition be revised to allow two types of fill permits: Fill Dirt <br />Permits and Fill Material Permits. <br />Fill Dirt Permit: for residential zones (R-1, R-2, & R-3) excluding Large Lot, and may include up to <br />5-10% man-made material and aggregate not exceeding 1%" in size. <br />Fill Material Permit: for Large Lot, Commercial, and Industrial zones with a specification yet to <br />be determined. Conditions for fill material shall include: <br />• Drainage plan per Fill Permit Details Graph (included in application packet) <br />• Statement and sketch acknowledging future land use <br />• No parking designation on administrative record <br />• Double fines for violations <br />10. Administrative Reports <br />There were no administrative reports. <br />11. Commission Comments on matters appearing on agenda or inquiry of staff regarding specific <br />factual information or existing policy. <br />• Commissioner Martin hoped everyone had a great holiday and is looking forward to the <br />new year. <br />• Commissioner Warren wished everyone a happy new year and is enjoying working with the <br />subcommittee. <br />• Chairman Lawler thanked the members for their time and encouraged the group to email <br />Planning Staff with any questions they may have about the fill dirt discussion. <br />12. Adjourn <br />Motion by Commissioner Bird to adjourn. Second by Commissioner LaCour.
