MINUTES OF LA PORTE AD HOC ASSOCIATION - NOVEMBER 15, 1990 <br /> ROLL CALL /LIST SIGNED BY ALL PRESENT: <br /> Original on file. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The La Porte Sports Association held their meeting on Thursday, <br /> November 15, 1990, at the Public Works Building. Those in <br /> attendance were as follows: <br /> Pete Kirchberg - La Porte Girls Softball <br /> Jim Rigby - La Porte Soccer <br /> Lee Allen - La Porte Soccer <br /> George Van Dyke - La Porte Oilers (Came in at 8 p.m.) <br /> Debbie Clark - Raiders Softball <br /> Stan Sherwood - City of La Porte <br /> Bert Clark - City of La Porte <br /> Becky Smith - City of La Porte <br /> President Lee Allen called the meeting to order at 7 :40 p.m. <br /> REVIEW OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING: <br /> Debbie Clark made a motion to accept the previous minutes as <br /> presented. Seconded by Pete Kirchberg. <br /> REVIEW OF ANY OLD BUSINESS AND /OR COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS: <br /> None <br /> ELECTION OF NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS: <br /> Election was tabled until the February 19, 1991 meeting due to By <br /> Law requiring a 2/3 representation. <br /> REVIEW OF IRRIGATION SYSTEM: BERT CLARK <br /> Postponed until a representative from La Porte Boys Baseball is <br /> present at the meeting as most of the irrigation system concerns <br /> their organization. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Bert Clark announced that the Parks and Recreation Department is <br /> preparing to plant 50 -60 Live Oak trees, Willow Trees, Pampus <br /> Grass. Some of these will be planted at Lomax Softball Complex. <br /> Bid requests were sent to our Purchasing Department on November <br /> 14th for renovation of the scorekeepers booths at Lomax. <br />
