Councilperson Bentley moved to award bid #21019, Asphalt Street Overlay Project, to Forde Construction Company, Inc. for approximate quantities and authorize the City Manager to execute a contract establishing unit prices for asphalt street reconstruction, not to exceed the available budgeted amounts; the motion was seconded by Councilperson Lunsford; the motion was adopted, 8-0. Main St. and S. Utah St, legally described as Lots 1-27, Block 184, Town of La Porte, by changing the land use designation from - discussion and possible action to adopt Ordinance 2021-3837 amending the City's Future Land Use Map Component of the Comprehensive Plan for an approximately 2.1-acre tract of land located at the northwest corner of E. Main St. and S. Utah St, legally described as Lots 1-27, Block 184, Town of La Porte, by changing the land use designation from to -High Density Evans, Director of Planning and Development\] The Mayor opened the public hearing at 6:28 p.m. Mike Shannahan expressed his opposition to the item. The Mayor closed the public hearing at 6:38 p.m. No motion was made and the item was not considered. b.
